Paul Austin, CPC

A veteran of the U.
S. Army, Paul obtained his B.B.A. in Marketing from The University of
Texas. He has been in the recruiting industry for over 25 years,
co-founded The Austin Group, Inc. in 1977 and The Qualitec® Family of
Independent Companies in 1992.
Paul has trained
hundreds of recruiters in the art of executive search and currently
serves as Chairman of the Board and President of The Qualitec® Family
of Independent Companies, comprised of 16 different search corporations
including The Austin Group, Inc. In this position, he supervises 60+
recruiters and is responsible for all training activities.
Paul is committed
to continuing education and to being a student of the recruiting
industry. As such, he received the Certified Personnel Consultant
designation after mastering a body of knowledge and successfully
passing rigorous testing of his knowledge of the industry.
Additionally, all employees who become eligible are encouraged to
pursue their CPC.

Paul currently
serves on the Advisory Board for Joseph Michaels, Inc., a permanent
search firm in San Francisco, and on the Business Development Advisory
Board for Community Bank, a rapidly growing Houston area bank.
Additionally, he is a contributing member of the Management Exchange
Group, an informal study group of independent permanent placement
organizations who meet twice a year for an open, confidential exchange
of business philosophies and techniques covering all aspects of the
permanent placement business including operations and overall business
management.

Ms. Daniel has
devoted her career in professional sales to serving the needs of her
clients. Her strong drive to benefit others, combined with high
integrity, excellent experience and a desire to be the best has
propelled her to early and ongoing success in the technical recruiting
field. In her early years, Ms. Daniel established herself in the
environmental and chemical business sectors as a significant
contributor – so much so that she was named “Rookie of the Year” by the
Houston Area Association of Personnel Consultants and her prior
employer. In subsequent years she has been annually recognized for her
production and in January 1996 was named Manager of the Houston Branch
for Whitaker. In June 1997 she was named Vice President of Operations
for Whitaker Technical Services. In September of 2000 She joined The
Qualitec Family of Companies as Vice President of The Austin Group
Resources, L.P. Prior to joining The Austin Group Resources, L.P., Ms.
Daniel was a manufacturers representative and led her company in
division earnings for five years, maintaining yearly sales of over one
million dollars. In her final year she was inducted into the Presidents
Club with sales exceeding $1.7 million, the only person in her division
so honored. Prior to that she was named “Outstanding Young Woman in
America” for her civic and church related work.
Before her career
in recruiting, Ms. Daniel taught at John Foster Dulles High School in
Fort Bend Independent School District where she successfully coached
debate and all areas of competitive speech. For her efforts she was
voted the 1976 “Outstanding Educator of the Year.”
Ms. Daniel
graduated from Stephen F. Austin University with a Bachelor of Science
in Communication. In 1994, she received the Certified Temporary
Staffing Specialist (CTS) designation by the National Association of
Personnel Services, and was awarded a CIPC in 1999. She has served as
an instructor for the CTS exam and has been a corporate trainer. Ms.
Daniel is a 25 year resident of Houston and is the mother of two
children and a recent grandmother!
